ATEC Systems is currently seeking for a person with recent experience in the Logistics/Export/Warehousing industry and able to interact in the administrative area with claims processing. This is a fast paced/multi-tasking environment. The candidate must possess excellent communication skills as well as effective problem solving skills. Development of positive working relationships through proactive service is equally as essential.
- Receive and evaluate claims requested from our Customers
- Communicate with suppliers, ocean carriers, customers and / or insurance companies in order to obtain all info needed to evaluate each claim according to our policies, procedures and time frames
- Process all info necessary in our multi-user excel files utilizing Macros
- Process all inquiries from management, customers and suppliers in a timely and professional manner
- Effectively resolve problems by utilizing internal and external resources to determine best course of action
- Requesting and reviewing documentation including invoices, packing lists, certificates, and pictures, while simultaneously meeting deadlines
- 1-3 years Logistics/Export/Warehousing/Freight forwarding industry experience a plus
- Bi-lingual English/Spanish (Fluent Verbal & Written) is mandatory
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Detailed oriented, analytical and able to multitask
- Must work well individually and as part of a team with little direction
- Accounting/Collections experience would be helpful, but not necessary
